Hemorrhoids occur because of excessive straining during potty time. This happens because of difficulty passing stools. The key factor at play here is your diet. A hemorrhoid in essence is a vein that cannot be held by the connective tissue.

To start with when this problem arises take a warm bath and relax. After you are done with the bath you need to clean that area thoroughly using a clean tissue. If you do not already have them you will need to pick up some vitamin E capsules.

Puncture the capsule with a clean needle. Then squeeze the contents on the affected area and massage it in carefully. This will help sooth the pain. Then go to the kitchen and make yourself a warm glass of water with lemon in it. After that boil the kettle and make a cup of chamomile tea.

Have a few cups during the day. When done with that it is time to prepare something to eat. Eat some fruit and nothing else for the present. Then drink lots of water. Your goal is to flush your system. Then a little later make yourself some porridge or pick up a bag of steel cut oats.

The objective here is to up the level of fiber in your body. If you are having difficulty sitting get a special cushion that does not irritate the affected area. At this juncture you also need to cut down on dairy and heavily processed foods. Along with foods pick up some natural herbal supplements to help improve the health of your veins. If you apply all of the above you will be able to manage your hemorrhoid problem more effectively and achieve longer lasting results.
